He was a Tirthankar. He propounded the Tirtha i.e., the way to the liberation of the soul. Acharya Samant Bhadra has called his teachings Sarvodaya Tirtha (religion that preaches the welfare of all living beings).
ඔහු තිර්තන්කරයෙක් ත්රිත නමින් හැදින්වෙන ගැඹුරු ජෛන දර්මය ඔහු තෙරුන් කර දෙනවා ආත්මයේ විමුක්තිය සඳහා උපකාර වන ,ආචාර්ය සමන්ත බද්ර ඔහු ගේ ඉගැන්වීම හදුන්වන්නේ [සර්වෝදය]කියලා ආගම තුලින් අවවාද කරනවා මනුෂ්යාගේ යහපත් අභිවෘදී පිණිස ,පැවැත්ම සඳහා යන්නයි
